Agreement

By using Booster Roles, you agree to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Booster Roles Discord bot ("the bot"). By adding the bot to a server or using any of its commands, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot.

The bot is operated by snipermaster226 ("we", "us"). Use of the bot is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Eligibility

Who can use the bot

You must be at least 13 years old to use this bot, in accordance with Discord's minimum age requirement. By using the bot, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Server administrators who add the bot are responsible for ensuring it is used appropriately within their server and that their members' use complies with these terms.

Acceptable use

What you may and may not do

You may use the bot for its intended purpose: requesting, editing, and managing custom booster roles within Discord servers.

You may not:

Attempt to exploit, abuse, or circumvent the bot's functionality
Use the bot to harass, impersonate, or harm other users
Request role names, colors, or icons that violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the bot or its code
Use automation or scripts to interact with the bot at a rate that would constitute abuse

Servers that use the bot to create roles containing slurs, hate symbols, or other harmful content will be blacklisted without warning.

Server admins

Responsibilities of server administrators

By adding the bot to your server, you take on responsibility for how it is configured and used within that server. Specifically, you agree to:

Configure the bot using /setup accurately and not use it to deceive or mislead members
Ensure your server's use of the bot complies with Discord's Terms of Service
Not grant the bot permissions beyond what is required for it to function
Remove the bot if you no longer wish to be bound by these terms

Availability

Service availability and modifications

The bot is provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. The bot may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or any other reason at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue any feature of the bot at any time. We also reserve the right to blacklist individual users or servers that violate these terms.

No refunds are applicable — the bot is a free service with no paid tier.

Data

Data storage

By using the bot, you consent to the storage of the data described in our Privacy Policy. This includes Discord user IDs, server IDs, and role-related information submitted through the bot's commands.

We do not sell or share this data with third parties. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Liability

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or disruption caused by the use or inability to use the bot, including but not limited to:

Loss of data due to downtime or database failure
Unintended role deletions or modifications caused by bot errors
Actions taken by server administrators using the bot
Any changes to Discord's API that affect the bot's functionality

Changes

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be announced in the bot's support server. Continued use of the bot after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
